PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

The message ‘synchronization lost’ appears on the screen while all looks normal.

Cause

The message 'synchronisation lost' is in fact a warning signal. Synchronisation is set at the beginning of a job. Synchronisation means that each cavity will be labelled according ware order and arrival time of the bottle, which is measured upon the machine pulse.

Possible causes for loosing synchronisation are machine speed change, conveyor belt speed change, timing of push-out etc. All these factors will affect the arrival time of the bottle in front of the camera.

Synchronisation is constantly monitored by using the intensity characteristics of the machine curve. Certain disturbances in intensity levels for example , lot of fallen ware, stuck ware, multiple section startup , etc. can influence this machine curve causing the 'synchronisation lost' warning.

The previous order of the synchronisation will be still active and should be checked. If machine speed etc. is not changed, it is most likely that synchronisation is still okay. It is just a warning to check.

Solution

The previous order of the synchronisation will be still active and should be checked. If machine speed etc. is not changed, it is most likely that synchronisation is still okay. It is just a warning to check.
